:

Here is a bird made popular due to his sweet disposition. Available in numerous color variations and mutations, from pure white to lutinos, pearl and pied with orange or yellow cheeks. Still grey has not lost its popularity. It is really the type of bird that is comfortable within the family and adapts easily to school age children. It is not territorial therefore is easily manipulated. It is an Australian parrot and one that is tamed the easiest. Many can imitate the human language and you will find many who can whistle. Its long wings may make it difficult to catch once he is in flight.

:

A cage with a dimension of 50 x 50 cm (20 x 20 in.) is a reasonable size for one. He loves bells, and toys suspended in front of him. He is not too much of an acrobat.

:

We breed the cockatiel at La Grande Ménagerie and hand feed them in order to make them appreciate being touched.
